Migrating from Puerto Rico and later Connecticut, along with Shannon from Walled Lake, Michigan, moved to the breathtaking Traverse City in 2019. We soon discovered the treasure we had stumbled upon in this splendid corner of the USA. We hit the ground running. We put down roots, built friendships, bought a house in 2021, and began renovations in 2024 to share the beauty of Traverse Bay with others. It's not just the grandeur of the bays that they enjoy sharing, but also the community, the cuisine, and the natural ambiance.

Next to beach! 2 miles from Downtown! 10 minutes from hospital and horse shows. Peaceful small 2 bed 1 shower w kitchenette! Has and outdoor shower for after outdoor activities in the summer. Small yard with wood privacy fence. There is a nice paver stone walkway to the back yard where there is a private patio and private entry but the garden area in back yard is shared with owners. There are multiple motion detection actively recording camera on property that do cannot record audio or video within apartment and cannot record video on patio.  In rare events we will need emergency access into to the supply closet for the electrical panel within the rental. You will be notified ahead of time by text and prior to entering the premises we will knock on the door.

Neighborhood info

It is peaceful. The neighbors are amazing and the properties are not so close where we hear each other. Its small but fenced for privacy and the NMC college owns the land a crossed from me so it will likely never be developed. There is a gorgeous low traffic public beach with park and playground for children just a few houses down. What makes in more unique is how close it is from the bay with bay access.. Also, that it is in the college and local elementary/middle school neighborhood so it is extremely safe with unusually low traffic for Traverse City and just minutes from the main Downtown District which is booming with life and activities.

• UNIT TYPE: 1ST Floor APT in a 2-story home w/ a private entrance. It has radiant heated flooring & 6” insulated walls for sound reduction. 550 SQFT.PRIVACY: Shared fenced in backyard with private patio.
• CAMERAS: 1 Camera in backyard, 1 Driveway, 1 Front Door video for upstairs residents. (NO CAMERAS IN UNIT OR ON PATIO. Audio cannot be heard from inside unit. All actively record by motion detection.)
• BEDROOMS:2 (1 queen bed and 1 pull out FULL sectional couch.) (6 shared variety of pillows between each room.
• INTERNET: Super High speed WIFI
• TV: Two 50” smart TV with spectrum cable app in both rooms w Roku
• AIR CONDITIONING: Main bedroom portable window unit. A portable fan is also in the 2nd bedroom.
• REFRIGERATOR, STOVE/OVEN, MICROWAVE, COFFEE POT there are some basic spices, baking, and cleaning supplies when available.
• SAFE- Small/medium in 2nd room closet with code entry
• PUBLIC BEACH/PARK HAS GRILLS: There is also an onsite grill that can be used upon request.
• East Beach Beach is 2 doors down from unit with boat access and children's playground.
• PARKING: 1 Car (Public short-term parking available at the beach.)(maybe 1 additional small car can fit directly behind the tenant if it does not impede the biking lane.)
  LAUNDRY: No (1 mile a drop off is available.) Linens/towels yes more are available we launder all linens
• DOWNTOWN DISTRICT only 2 MILES
• PETS/SMOKING: No
  City-Wide Free Public Transportation System via BATA bus and Stop is within walking distance.
• CHARGING DEVICES: Cords/plugs available for iPhone and Android
• BATHS: NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE. Restroom has a step to enter. Has a shower but no bathtub. (Has an extra outdoor shower if muddy.) (There is a shower seat by request and a suction cup removeable shower handle to steady yourself when needed.)
